New Sounds from Around the Globe
Three Songs from Different Corners of the World
There’s an entire world of music unfolding beyond the borders of what most of us usually hear—and it’s far too often overlooked. Too many listeners stay rooted in their own country’s sound, missing out on voices, perspectives, and styles that feel completely fresh simply because they come from somewhere else. At Ventipop, that’s exactly what we’re chasing: artists with something to say, no matter the language, genre, or label attached to them. The truth is, incredible music is everywhere—you just have to be willing to look for it. These three new tracks are a small glimpse into that global pulse, each one from an artist you probably wouldn’t stumble across on your own, but might not be able to forget once you do.
Representing Greece…
“3AM” by AUDYSSEUS
"I'm AUDYSSEUS, a Electronic artist based in Greece. I make highly emotional and danceable. I'd love to submit my latest track "3am" for your consideration."
Representing Indonesia…
“Di Hotel Malibu” by Thee Marloes
Thee Marloes are a soul-jazz trio out of Surabaya, Indonesia, bringing a warm, vintage sound with their own local twist. They’re signed to Big Crown Records, and the group features Natassya Sianturi on vocals and keys, Tommy Satwick on drums, and Sinatrya “Raka” Dharaka on guitar and production.
Representing Sweden…
“Snälla Gud” by Fat Soul
Fat Soul is a band out of Västerås, Sweden that drifts between alternative rock and hazy psychedelia without really settling in one place. Their 2021 album Electric Light & Magic leans into that mix—loose, textured, and a little unpredictable. They’ve even described the whole thing as a “recording project of filthy people from Scandinavia,” which feels about right once you hear it.
