FOCUS ON THE NAV!!!
F/FF/RW #5 :: New music this week by Josiah and the Bonnevilles, Joy Oladokun, Noah Kahan, Brimheim, The Raveonettes, Parker Millsap, Niklas Paschburg, Andrea Boma Boccarusso & Please Don't Destroy
New releases were sparse this week as a lot of artists are gearing up for spring releases in the upcoming weeks. I do like the reimaginings and acoustic takes on the new U2 album Songs of Surrender and M83’s new record Fantasy feels like the soundtrack to a dream state. Remember, if you like F/FF/RW, please share with the other music lovers in your life and head over to Ventipop.com for even more music.
Here are my 5 favorite new songs released this week.
JOSIAH AND THE BONNEVILLES :: “TENNESSEE SONG”
JOY OLADOKUN & NOAH KAHAN :: “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE”
BRIMHEIM & THE RAVEONETTES :: “VERONICA FEVER”
PARKER MILLSAP :: “SO FAR APART”
NIKLAS PASCHBURG :: “21ST OF JUNE”
I enjoyed this trip down memory lane and listening to the evolution of rock as guitarist Andrea Boma Boccarusso blasted through 50 years of rock…one iconic riff at a time.

New albums released this week that I’m most looking forward to hearing:
U2 - SONGS OF SURRENDER
M83 - FANTASY
The Band of Heathens - SIMPLE THINGS
100 Gecs - 10,000 GECS
Niklas Paschburg - PANTA RHEI
These Please Don't Destroy sketches are quickly becoming my favorite part of Saturday Night Live every week. “Road Trip” is one of their best with its bouncy, upbeat earworm of a song and perfectly-timed absurdist humor and darkly energetic take on an American classic vacation.
Hit the pause button ‘til next Friday. See ya then…
